Its past 8:00 am and we waited for the cashier so that we may pay the fees that we need to pay. It made us wait for almost an hour just waiting for the most punctual cashier. After paying we were given our time schedule and given some instructions about going to Underground river and all systems go to the 7 wonders. Our time schedule is 3pm we are just following the system that they made to avoid inconvenience.

The land travel from the city is approximately almost 2 hours, we traveled to some bumpy, rough and rocky roads but we also passed by some road construction on going for a better run of the wheels. Most of us fell asleep during the long ride without noticing that we almost reach the place.

We arrived at hot sunny day at Sabang Beach in the picture with honeysol, me and gladys taken by ruth. Inspite of the torridness of the atmosphere we are still on the go for it no matter what.

We have reached at Sabang Beach while waiting for our turn of the tour at Underground river we just spent out time here at Sabang Beach. We spent a few hours of swimming and had some lots of fun and a lots of picture taking. We also had our lunch here and gladly we like the food that they served here very tropical.

Welcome to Sabang Beach, this coast has its own unique charm that would make tourist come back all all over the place. It has a huge range of accommodation that would suit any budget and travelers you can buy anything here. Just like what we did we didn't check-in to any of the establishments here or rent a cottages but we just rather stopover and take a seat on the sands only because it is more relaxing with the help of the big trees that serves as our shelter in the area. It is more likely of a picnic type.

We also saw lots of foreigners in this coastal area, taking a swim, sunbathing, and touring as well. Sabang beach is a long shore with a white fine sand, pristine water, and a quite breeze and it is one of the stopovers near the famous Underground river. The water at the Sabang beach is very clear, water is very safe for kids its a long distance away before the water gets that deep.

It took us lots of takes to have this Jump Shot to go at the same time, never touch the ground but I just covered my face very bad clip.. hehehe but still it's kinda okay.

Sabang's version of Kalesa instead of Horse they used the Carabao as a carriage there mode of transportation just for tourist only. This is one Sabang's tourist attraction here.

I'm so loving this tropical food and also the Minatamis as a dessert.

This is one the pics that i liked because I looked like Muro Ami in this photo, taken by Xang from her galaxy fone. I love to have a pic taken from Xang's fone because of the nice effects it has. Trying to be sexy in some of the photos but personally got a very fatty body hehehe...

From afar we saw this resort that is so pleasing in the eye, we decided to go there just to have a picture taking. It is the Sheridan Beach Resort and Spa it is one the luxurious resort found in Sabang it is very amiable and looks expensive for me.

After our picture taking we are getting ready to leave Sabang beach for us to keep going for our next activity. Because time runs out so fast and it is our time for us to be at the Subterranean River National Park also known as the Underground River. We need to hire a boat again to be on the said place.

We need to ride in a bangka in order to reached the Underground River. We are travelling in an open sea, while in the bangka we can see from afar the different scenery of the limestone inticades that we are really near to the underground river as soon as we come closer to our destination i don't know understand what to feel upon seeing the sight I was really amazed I don't know what to say it is such a goddess place to have those kinds of dazzling limestone.

This is a Thumps Up for me a salute to nature and God's creation. Good thing Puerto Prinsesa managed to preserved this majestic and natural foundation well. I feel so proud and honored to be in this amazing habitat. Especially it is now included to one of the 7 wonders of the world.

The Team Katol-Tiil conquers Underground River

3 ladies in the 7 wonders of the world having fun

Welcome!! this is the main entrance going to the cave

A "NO PERMIT, NO ENTRY" policy is strictly enforced in the park. All persons are required to secure a Visitor Entry Permit before entering the park.
for for info you may check this site : http://www.puerto-undergroundriver.com/

To be able to be in the Underground River we need to pass through a long wooded pathway inside a dessert covered with abundant of altered trees. The atmosphere is is quite cold with the presence of some insects that will try to bit you.

This wooden pathway makes it more attractive and gives the tourist a little more excitement to be on the distinguish abode.

All smiles to be in this spot, few more steps and were ready to go...

During this trail we found some wild monkeys all over the place some will just pass through in front of you some are just on the tree branches and some are just staring at you as if they are planning something on you and it make me so scared. We were warned not to bring any foods in plastics for the reason to avoid the Monkeys may attack you and get that thing in your hand.

Now getting ready, after the registration we now wore our life supporters (life jacket) and helmets and waited for our turn to ride in the modest boat that would yield us to the cave. Each boat has one assigned guide and the one who will paddle the boat. The first in line passenger will be in-charge in holding the battery-operated spot lamp and Gladys is the one holding the lamp but it turns out she was strikes into panic when the boats starts heading inside the cave and she was about to cry and don't want her position her position but we just convince her just to stay calmed and just enjoy it because she can afford to switch places anymore because we are in the middle of going in. That manner she was now more relaxed.

Ready to go in... upon entering the cave the boat man starts to talk about what's inside the cave sharing witty stories and history of the cave, it's like we are in a field trip. Inside the cave the clement is cold and it is very dark the only light that you will see the the spotlight that we had and the flash of our cameras. There is a moments of silence wherein you may only overhear the water drops from the caves, the chirping of the humming birds and the flipping of the bats or maybe the birds wings.

Inside the cave is a breath-taking views of the rock formations of the stalagmites and stalactites. You will surely be entertained and would catches your eyes off to every rock patterns that you passed by it's like an architectural structure but it's not all of this are natural-made only.

Based on what I learned about Underground River is the longest searched underground river in the world. Approximately 8.2 kilometers have been discovered wherein, 4.3 kilometers are passable, but for tourist it would only be limited to 1.5 kilometers equivalent to about 45 minutes tour. According to the boat man if we go further it's actually a dead end and a bit dangerous and if you wish to explore more you'll be needing a special permit to explore the rest of the river.

Underground river is such an enchanting place and it is excellent scenic spot to visit, that's why lots of tourist love to be in one of the 7 wonders of the world. This is one of the preserved areas in the Philippines treated as one the treasured island of the country. It was created to protect the notable cave systems, lush old growth tropical rain-forest, fascinating wildlife, unspoiled natural allure of the area and one of the most impressive caves systems in the world.

I personally was very delighted and really appreciated the wonder of the natural world. Very Sulit!! You won't regret this to be in this wonderful reality. Truly it is a certified wonders of the world.

We conquered one of the 7 wonders of the world. It is such a wonderful experience that would make me so proud of that me together with my friends witness how astonish this subterranean area. I will treasure this moment for the rest of my life.
Me, Honeysol, Ruth, Xang & Poy the certified Katol-Tiil team.
