Day 1: Trip to Puerto Prinsesa

We touch down to Puerto Prinsesa at past 12:00 noon, outside the airport the stuff of the hotel is waiting to pick us up and consort us directly to our hotel at Corazon Tourist Inn at Brgy. San Miguel. We checked in right away as soon as we arived to our hotel and went to our room to get changed and getting ready for our first activity which is Island hopping @ Honda Bay. We just wait for our tour guide Kuya Ding to pick up us and we're ready to go.

try to visit there site to check out the rates.

We rented a van so that it would be more easy for us to have a tour of the place, Kuya ding the tour guide is also the driver of the van that we rented.

If your looking for a accommodating and approachable tour guide I can recommend Kuya Ding and you may also rent his van at a very reasonable price. You may contact him through this no. 09186620495. Kuya ding is simply the best, Tour Guide, Driver and he can be a Photographer as well.

Going to Honday Bay....

Before proceeding to the island tour you need to be registered first and pay some registration fees. There is an assigned boat for us, as soon as the boat came we all hopped in to proceed with the expedition.
There are lots of islets that we passed by but our island hopping guide said that we can only visit two island that time because of the high tides and some of the islets there is "lulubog-lilitaw". that's why only two islands are allowed for us to go.

This is the boat that we hire for our island hopping, we are the only passengers in this boat together with two guides. (mga turista: Honey, Xang, Ruth & Poy)

Our first stop: Snake Island

At first I got curious why is it called Snake Island, is it because there are lots of snake on the said island? But it's not... it is a white sand beach name as such due to elongated and winding sand bar resembling a snake. The place was so nice, the waves is to strong and you'll love to listen to the wave sounds of the sea because it is very relaxing to the ears. Aside from swimming, travelers here can hire boats and snorkel off the shores and feed the fish.

Snake island is very eye catching because of the very clear blue water, as clear as you can see the colorful fishes, it is better to bring bread to feed the fishes, as soon as you put bread the fishes will come near you to where you put the bread and group of fishes will come near you, good thing that i brought my own snorkel so that we may catch the glimpse of the beauty underwater especially the colorful fishes and it's corals as well.

We took a little dive and take pictures with the fishes using the underwater cameras that we have. It is such a wonderful feeling to be with those fishy.

You can also have a meal at Snake island, you may choose any seafoods that you may like but we rather have a fresh grilled fish with hot rice paired it with a fresh Buko juice very much at home food it is more appetizing especially if you eat using your bare hands, this is or late lunch/merienda very heavy eating hehehe...

After of being full we went back to take another dip at the sea. As time goes by we haven't noticed the time and we went to the second Island.

Second stop: Pandan Island

It is called Pandan Island because of the abundance of Pandan trees found in this island. This place is more solemn, very peaceful and quite far from the sonance of the city. It also had a very clear water and you may also see different kinds of fish as long as you fed them with bread.

We are lucky enough to witness the appearance of the rainbow that time. there are also star fishes found here. wherein we took one to take a picture with. Me and the rest of the gang really had fun in our island hoping activities. and our time is up we need to ride back and get going all the way back to Honda Bay because there is a time limit on the tout it is only until 5pm allowed in every boat.

Me underwater (taken by our guide) trying to view the nice scenery underwater it its so lovely seeing lots of colorful fishes, lively corals and different sizes of Sea urchins.

We went back to our hotel to take a shower and rest for a while and getting ready to eat out for dinner.

Dinner @ Kinabuch

We all got excited of what Puerto Palawan has to offer with their delicacies. Excited to have a taste of their famous "TAMILOK".

The place: ❒ ✔

The ambiance: ❒✔

The service: ❒✔

The Food: No Comment

It didn't meet our expectations because we end up not happy and contented with the food that they served. We were expecting too much but we got frustrated anyway.

We also experience eating the the fresh Tamilok... the taste was not bad at all it is very tolerable but you'll getting hard of swallowing it because it's very slimmy it would taste beter if you dipped it into something sour and hot (chili hot).

After eating, we walked all the way to our hotel place because it is just a walking distance. In the hotel we take a rest and take a good night sleep charging ourselves and getting ready for our next activity for tomorrow.
